One of the common values of the Turkic world is science. If we look at the history of the peoples of the same origin, scientists from the Turkic world lit the beacon of world science and made a significant contribution to the development of global civilization. Rector of the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University Gaukhar Aldambergenova said at the opening ceremony of the International Symposium on Turkic World Studies.
«Abu Nasir al-Farabi, known as the «Second Teacher» and celebrating his 1150th birthday this year, wrote about 150 scientific works in the field of philosophy, mathematics, art and literature in the Middle Ages in Otrar, Kazakhstan. Valuable treatises of the great thinker have not lost their meaning and significance. The spiritual leader of the whole Turkic world, Hodja Ahmed Yassawi, lived in Turkestan and spread religious teachings. Scientists such as Yusuf Balasagun, Mahmut Kashgari, Abu Raihan al-Biruni, Ahmet Iugineki have left their mark not only in the Turkic world, but also in world science», – said the head of the Women's University.
According to him, the International Symposium on the Study of the Turkic World aims to continue the golden thread that has been passed down from ancestor to child, and will further strengthen the scientific cooperation of peoples with common roots.
«The vitality of the words of the educator Ismail Gasprinsky, which has become a motto:» Unity in language, thought, and action – unity «is clearly proved. The program article of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – President Nursultan Nazarbayev «Focus on the Future: Spiritual Revival» was the impetus for the realization of the idea of a common figure in the Turkic world. Indeed, today, in the midst of troubled times, special attention is paid to strengthening the friendship of the fraternal peoples, preserving the peace and unity of the fraternal countries through the common interests of the Turkic peoples. Better a poor horse than no horse at all. This is the main purpose of the traditional symposium. Wishes and intentions, thoughts and weddings to create a common dialogue platform for one brother. Creating a strong council and paving the way for innovation», – Gaukhar Aldambergenova said.
The rector of Women's University noted that the dream of our ancestors became a reality after the independence of the Turkic states. These changes have led to the emergence of a new political, economic and cultural space. Today, Kazakhstan is the main catalyst for strengthening the cooperation of fraternal peoples. There is a reason for this. After all, the Kazakh land has long been considered a golden bridge connecting East and West, Europe and Asia.
«The idea of a 'united Turkic country', which pursues the eternal goals of the Turkic people, bequeathed to us by our ancestor Kultegin, has reached a new level today. This is evidenced by the International Symposium on the Study of the Turkic World, which aims to contribute to the development of culture and art, language and literature of Turkic-speaking countries. I hope that this will be a golden pillar for the development of Turkic civilization and the continuation of the epochs», – the head of the university said.
