    • Project Title: AP26198947 Synthesis and study of the properties of multicomponent perovskites for the development of magnetically sensitive media with controlled physico-chemical characteristics

      Project Goal

The goal of the project is to further develop the theory and practice of synthesizing new nanosized magnetic multicomponent oxide multiferroics based on perovskites, as well as to investigate their structure and physicochemical characteristics. The project is aimed at understanding their potential for applications in various technological fields, including electronics, spintronics, information storage, and sensing.

      Project Tasks

To achieve the project goal, the following tasks will be addressed:

Task 1: Synthesis of Multicomponent Manganites in Polycrystalline and Nanograined States

1.1. Study of Optimal Synthesis Conditions for New Multicomponent Magnetic Materials Based on Mixed Manganites:

      • Conduct a literature review of existing synthesis methods for mixed manganites with perovskite-like structures.
      • Analyze the influence of various parameters (temperature, pressure, reaction time, composition of reagents, etc.) on the phase composition, structure, and properties of the obtained materials.
      • Determine the optimal synthesis conditions for producing target multicomponent manganites with specified characteristics.

1.2. Synthesis and Study of Physicochemical Properties of Nanosized Multiferroics Based on Perovskite-like Structures:

      • Develop synthesis methodologies for nanomaterials with controlled sizes and shapes (e.g., sol-gel, hydrothermal, co-precipitation, etc.).
      • Study the impact of size effects on the structure, magnetic, electrical, and other properties of the synthesized nanomaterials.
      • Investigate the relationship between composition, structure, and physicochemical characteristics of new nanocomposite multiferroics.

      1.3. Optimization of Obtained Results:

      • Analyze and summarize the data collected.
      • Identify patterns between synthesis conditions, composition, structure, and functional properties of the new perovskites.

Development of recommendations for further improvement of the properties of the studied multiferroic materials.

The expected result is the determination of the optimal conditions for the synthesis of promising multicomponent magnetic materials based on multicomponent manganites, as well as the creation of nanomaterials with precisely controlled particle sizes and geometry.

Task 2: Determination of the stability stages of the chemical composition and structural parameters of the constituent components, along with their geometric characteristics, using a comprehensive structural analysis approach.

2.1. Analysis and Study of Material Structures:

      • Conduct X-ray phase analysis to determine crystalline phases and their parameters.
      • Use electron microscopy to visualize the microstructure and morphology of the samples.
      • Apply spectroscopic methods (IR spectroscopy) to investigate chemical composition and bonding.

Task Goal: Establish the relationship between structural features of materials and their magnetic, physical, and chemical properties.

      2.2. Investigation of Magnetic Properties:

      • Measure and analyze the magnetic susceptibility of samples.
      • Determine coercive force and remanent magnetization.
      • Study magnetic anisotropy and domain structure.

Expected Outcome: Conduct an analysis of the magnetic properties of the obtained materials to understand the influence of interfaces and interactions at grain boundaries on mechanisms that define the magnetic state.

Task 3: Investigation of Mechanisms Forming Magnetic Structure Based on Element Composition

3.1. Study of Physicochemical Properties: This task will involve a comprehensive analysis of physicochemical characteristics, including optical and electrical properties of the materials. Special attention will be given to studying optical transmittance, electrical conductivity, and dielectric properties.

3.2. Investigation of Magnetodielectric Properties of Multicomponent Systems: This task will focus on determining spin-dependent transport of electronic transitions in conductive systems.

3.3. Magnetoresonance and Magneto-optical Measurements: Using these methods, it will be possible to establish the state of magnetic ions, their positional distribution, and determine the role of competing interactions in the formation of the magnetic structure.

Expected Outcome: Conduct a study on the interaction of electromagnetic radiation with doped complex oxide nanocomposites in the radio and microwave frequency ranges. Establish a connection between the static and high-frequency properties of doped perovskites.
