The Faculty of Social Sciences, Humanities and Arts at the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University hosted international master classes for students of the Choreography degree programme as part of the "Parasat Alany: Education, Art and National Identity" week.

The event was organized under a memorandum of cooperation between higher education institutions in the two countries. As part of this collaboration, Erkina Yakubovna Saitova, Professor at the State Academy of Choreography of Uzbekistan, delivered a lecture and conducted a practical session entitled "Features of the Surkhandarya Dance School: Traditional Arm and Leg Positions."
During the practical sessions, students explored the characteristic movements, dance techniques and performance style of the Surkhandarya school of Uzbek folk dance. They also had the opportunity to learn and practise some of its traditional choreographic elements.
The initiative aims to enhance students' professional skills, deepen their knowledge of national choreography, and strengthen academic and cultural cooperation between the two universities.
