Department of Personal Development, Center for Women's Leadership and Entrepreneurship hosted a meeting titled "From Dream to Brand: The True Story of a Successful Entrepreneur."
The guest of honor was Gulbanu Maigarina, founder of the Lanzhou restaurant chain, creator of the KAZBRAND national reality contest, and co-founder of the Women Asia association.
The event covered topics such as starting a business, building a personal brand, and developing leadership skills. During the meeting, Gulbanu Maigarina stated: "Success in entrepreneurship is not just about financial metrics; it is a continuous search, a willingness to take risks, and dedication to your work. Fostering confidence and leadership qualities in female students is key to a competitive future society."
In turn, Vice-Rector for Research and Strategic Initiatives Aktolkyn Kulsariyeva highlighted the significance of hosting such inspiring figures at the university: "Meetings with successful entrepreneurs allow students to bridge theoretical knowledge with real-life practice. For our university, fostering each female student into an independent leader alongside becoming a qualified specialist is a top priority."
As part of the event, the Center for Women's Leadership and Entrepreneurship discussed potential cooperation and joint projects with Gulbanu Maigarina aimed at developing students' entrepreneurial potential. At the end of the meeting, students received answers to their questions.
