Organized by the Youth Policy Center of the Department of Personality Development at Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University, members of the QyzPU "Zhasyl El" labor team visited the "Almaty Regional Children's Home No. 1" as part of a charitable initiative.
The objective of the event was to bring joy to the children, promote the values of kindness and compassion, and enhance the social responsibility of the university's youth.
As part of the initiative, sweet treats and ice cream were distributed to the children. Specially invited animators hosted educational games, as well as interactive and creative programs for the young ones. Additionally, QyzPU students actively participated in the landscaping and sanitary cleaning of the orphanage, helping tidy up rooms and common areas.
The "Zhasyl El" youth labor team at Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University has been actively involving students in greening and landscaping efforts for over ten years, successfully implementing state youth policy. The program engages 1st to 4th-year students, aiming to reduce youth unemployment while fostering environmental culture, patriotism, and social responsibility.
This charitable initiative demonstrated the civic engagement of students and served as a tangible contribution to the implementation of the "Taza Qazaqstan" concept and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals).
