As part of the large-scale "Taza Qazaqstan" environmental campaign initiated by Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, a citywide clean-up event was held at the Baum Grove in Almaty.
Nearly 500 students from the Kazakh National Women’s Teacher Training University actively participated in the event, which focused on environmental protection and fostering an ecological culture.
Additionally, as part of the campaign, university staff and students planted 34 Tian Shan spruce trees on the university grounds. This initiative aims not only to expand the city’s "green belt" but also to enhance environmental responsibility among young people.
The "Taza Qazaqstan" campaign is a vital project that encourages the improvement of the country's environmental situation, the conservation of natural resources, and a responsible attitude from every citizen toward the environment.
