On March 3, psychologists of the Center for Mental Health Development Akbota Nurlankyzy Toleugaliyeva and Nazerke Yesenamankyzy conducted a psychological training session for students of Dormitory No. 4 on the topic “Your future is in your hands: say ‘no’ to harmful habits.”

The main objective of the training was to prevent harmful habits among students, develop skills for conscious and responsible decision-making, promote a healthy lifestyle, and strengthen personal responsibility.

During the training, participants discussed the psychological causes of harmful habits and addictions, ways to resist peer pressure, the importance of being able to say “no,” safe methods of coping with stress, and the identification of personal life values. Through interactive exercises and discussions, participants reflected on how their choices can influence their future and learned strategies for safe and responsible behavior.

This initiative is being implemented within the framework of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, in particular SDG 3: “Good health and well-being.”
