On the 19th February, at the Kazakh national women's teacher training university, a ceremonial evening dedicated to the work of the eminent poet of Kazakh literature, Mukagali Makataev, was held, which was organized by the Youth policy center.
The main purpose of the evening was to honor the poet’s rich spiritual legacy and, through his immortal poetry, awaken national consciousness in the younger generation.
The literary and musical evening was attended by Beibitkul Karimova, Chair of the Board – Rector, Zhuldyz Mukagalievich, son of the poet and member of the Union of Writers of Kazakhstan, Bakhytgul Aidarova, the poet's daughter-in-law, Tileukhan Mergenbaeva, scholar, Makatayev researcher, and physics teacher, as well as Duisen Maglumov, Editor-in-Chief of the 'Mukagali' journal, Candidate of Philological Sciences, and Associate Professor.
Students delivered expressive readings of Mukagali’s poems, captivating the audience with the power of his words. Beautiful songs set to his poems were performed. Additionally, video materials and theatrical performances portraying the life and fate of the poet were presented.
The festive evening conveyed the profound value of national poetry and culture, providing students and participants with an opportunity to exchange ideas and develop their creative talents and aesthetic taste.
