![Integration of Artificial Intelligence into the STEAM Education System]()
The Kazakh National Women’s Teacher Training University hosted an international scientific and methodological seminar titled “Integration of Artificial Intelligence into the STEAM Education System,” organized by the Department of Vocational Education in cooperation with the Department of Education of Almaty.
The main goal of the seminar was to enhance pedagogical practices and introduce innovative technologies into the educational process to develop creative and critical thinking skills among school students, university students, and master’s degree learners.
The event brought together scholars and educators from Russia, Turkey, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and leading universities of Kazakhstan, as well as methodologists from scientific-methodological centers and school teachers. Speakers exchanged experiences on issues related to the application of the STEM paradigm (science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics), the opportunities and risks associated with artificial intelligence, contemporary trends, and innovative approaches in education.
Associate Professor Mariyam Yezieva from Akdeniz University, in her presentation “Artificial Intelligence as a STEAM Tool in Fashion Design Education: Challenges and Prospects,” emphasized that integrating the STEAM concept with AI technologies is essential for preparing a new generation of specialists.
Acting Director of the Center for New Technologies in Education under the Almaty Department of Education, Ardak Smagulova, noted that the rapid integration of AI technologies into the field of design requires training competitive specialists who are ready to work effectively in the labor market.
The seminar became an important platform for experience exchange and discussion of pedagogical innovations, contributing to the development of international academic cooperation and the implementation of modern approaches in the educational process.
