The Department of Personal Development and the Center for Women’s Leadership and Entrepreneurship organized a meeting between students and mentors from the Arman Dala children’s health camp.
The main goal of the event was to support the professional and personal development of future educators, introduce students to the specifics of mentorship, and develop leadership skills.
The honored guests of the meeting were Bazyl Utilov, Deputy Director for Educational Work at the Arman Dala Children’s Health Center, and Dias Kabdulbariev, Senior Manager of the Center. They shared their experience working at the camp, discussed the role of mentors, and explained effective methods of communicating with children.
During the event, students learned about new camp projects and opportunities for professional practice during the summer season. Participants discussed the importance of teamwork, responsibility, leadership, and creativity. The meeting was held in an interactive format, allowing students to ask questions and receive practical advice on mentorship.
The university has been collaborating with the Arman Dala Children’s Health Center for three years under a formal agreement. This year, the center again provides students with the opportunity to take a free course starting on November 19. Students who successfully complete the program will be able to work at the camp on a paid basis during their free time, gaining hands-on experience in mentorship.
The event was conducted in alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, contributing specifically to Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Goal 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth).
